Bednbody’s story is a story of connection. It began with one therapist who needed an opportunity, one client who wanted care at home, and one rider who could help bring them together.
The beginningOur story began in November 2022 when Luigi and Jae started a business fueled by their dreams and passion for creating opportunities in the community. They helped a massage therapist find clients after the spa where the therapist worked was closing. At the time, clients usually had to travel to a physical spa to receive a massage.
They began by referring the therapist to friends and family who wanted a massage at home. A friend with a motorcycle was also looking for additional income, so Bednbody asked him to bring the therapist to clients. This became the beginning of Bednbody’s coordination model, connecting clients with therapists and connecting therapists with riders. Working out of the second room of their apartment in Cainta, they founded a home massage coordinating business, a company that now proudly bears the name Bednbody.
A growing needAs more massage therapists asked for help finding clients, Bednbody recognized a wider need. Skilled therapists wanted more opportunities, while clients wanted the convenience of receiving massage at home. Bednbody developed an organized way to coordinate bookings, schedules, therapist connections, and rider support.
A better modelAs demand grew, Bednbody introduced the Zero Transportation Fee Initiative, allowing clients to enjoy home massage without paying an additional transportation fee or traveling to a physical spa.
Bednbody also pioneered a 50% commission offer for affiliated massage therapists, giving therapists a stronger share from each service while Bednbody coordinated client connections, bookings, and rider support. These initiatives shaped a model built around client convenience and stronger opportunities for therapists.
Growing with purposeToday, Bednbody coordinates home massage services across 25 cities in Luzon and supports a growing network of affiliated therapists and riders. Bednbody continues to provide free training opportunities and supports charities and people in need, including orphanages, through donations and other assistance when available.
